The Central Square School District homecoming parade will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 14. During this time, County Route 12 from Paul V. Moore High School to US Route 11, to the Central Square Post Office and Hillcrest Drive, will be closed due to the parade traffic. The parade will conclude at the district stadium. Hastings-Mallory Elementary School Open House was a smashing success with cars lined up down the road. Students and parents joined together for BBQ outside the school to start, kids played with beach balls and frisbees while parents and teachers mingled. Prizes were awarded to several raffle winners.
