                                                                                                            I like popcorn.
                                                                                        The flavor is blueberry popsicle popcorn.
                                                                                        I am going to show you how to make it.
                                                                                                First you add a lot of popcorn.
                                                                                    Now you add water and blueberry flavoring.
                                                                                            Next put the popcorn in the freezer.
                                                                                            Oh, the popsicles you put the stick.
                                                                                                        I hope my mom likes it.
                                                                                                                I love popcorn.

                 2nd grade contest winner                                              

     Once in a far, far away place there was a sea.  In the middle of the sea
there was a island called Mo.  No one knew why it was called that.  A
lot of people lived there because it snowed POPCORN!!! It rained
BUTTER!!! But one day the weather took a turn.  It no more snowed
popcorn and did not rain butter.  Instead it snowed snow and it rained
rain.  People have been sad for weeks.  Then people started to move  One
month later people started to notice a crowd in the middle of Mo.  It
was the last piece of popcorn.  Three scientist rushed through the crowd
and they studied the popcorn hard.  Then they had it!  They made a
machine that will make it rain butter and snow popcorn.  So everyone
tried to lift the machine up.  No one could.  So they pout lots of
balloons on.  By the time they were done, they used 3000 balloons,  It went up in the sky. Moments later it started to snow and guess what it
snowed...POPCORN!  And Mo was back to normal!
